General Dentistry Services In Mt. Clemons

The Dental Group recommends regular dental checkups every six months.

During your checkup, your general dentist will examine your teeth and overall oral health after a healthy cleaning from your hygienist. With regular dental visits, we can prevent common dental health problems, such as tooth decay or periodontal disease, by monitoring your teeth and gums. Good oral health can also prevent dental procedures such as cavity fillings, root canals and tooth extractions.

Cavity Prevention & Treatment At The Dental Group

Cavities are extremely commonand they’re caused by such factors as sugary drinks, oral bacteria and poor dental care.

If you believe you have a cavity, you should seek immediate dental care from a skilled dentist at The Dental Group. Leaving your cavity untreated can result in further dental problems.

Tooth pain is the most common symptom of a cavity, and you may experience it when consuming hot or cold foods and drinks. Also known as tooth decay, a cavity can be easily prevented with these good habits:

  • Brushing your teeth properly at least twice per day
  • Floss daily to remove food debris in between your teeth
  • Using an antimicrobial mouth rinse to help reduce plaque
  • Eating a well balanced and nutritious diet with limited sweets
  • Regular visits to the dentist at least twice per year
